This is what each of your blog posts must do:
1. Tell us the title and author of your book.
2. If it's your first time blogging on this book, give us a quick summary.
3. Tell us about where you are in the book (it can be a rough guess or a percentage).
4. Use complete sentences and correct conventions. Capitalize the word "I"! Do not write a numbered list or bullet points.
5. If questions are asked in the comments, respond to each.
In addition, each post should do at least one of the following:
6. Discuss the characters. Are they compelling? Stereotypes? Static or dynamic? Flat or round? Simple or complex? Why? How does the author develop this character?
7. Discuss themes developed in the book. What big idea does this make you think about? Why? What do you think the author was trying to accomplish (other than entertainment or sales, if applicable)?
8. Ask questions. What do you not quite get? How can you find out what you want to know? What did you find out (in later post)?
9. Discuss how the author used some of the literary devices you've learned in language arts classes. These might include, but are not limited to symbol, metaphor, inciting incident, climax, suspense, etc.
